The Kids Are All Right was hysterical and very well made. Haven't seen much other than that recently and I don't think it is even playing anymore. I hear Winters Bone is supposed to be excellent, that just opened at Levis.

The Last Exorcism - Pretty Stupid. GF was scared but I was pretty shocked about that. Ending was confusing.

We love going to the movies - and it used to be that our credit union used to sell discount tickets, so for $6 and then $7 ea, we would go pretty much on a whim.. Now those days are gone.

What used to be "Wanna to see a movie tonight? Yeah, sure - go see what's on and when it's showing." to now, we only go when that "one" movie we've been waiting for is now running.

That being the case, we havent seen a movie in a long time. We were just talking at work that the summer of 2010 was one that had zero 'summer blockbusters'... There just werent any.

Yesterday we saw Easy A. I know, I know it looks like a teen movie. It's really a little more than that. Stanley Tucci and Patricia Clarkson were fabulous.

I run from Blockbusters.

Easy A looks great!

Ooh...I've been waiting for The Kids Are Alright to come out on DVD. Mark Ruffalo is the closest thing I have to a celebrity crush.

We don't go out to see movies very often - gets too expensive for my husband & I to go together. If we're going to get a babysitter for the night, I'm going to go out and really DO something instead of see a movie that I can watch at home later on DVD.

(I did take the kids to a couple of movies this summer, but I'm guessing those weren't the kind of movies that you had in mind. lol)

Not really, but I'd kinda like to see the new Resident Evil movie, probably on $6 Tuesdays :)

Was glad that Rave kept the $6 Tues special, was afraid to lose that when it they where bought out.

Here's my list for the rest of 2010
* Resident Evil
* The Social Network
* Wall Street
* Saw 7? 8?
* Harry Potter!!!
* Tron Legacy (maybe)
* Chronicles of Narnia (~Dec)
* Little Fockers

... and The Green Hornet if it does come out next Jan.

"waiting for superman" does look good, thanks Postal. Sad it's not showing here. Did a search and no theaters in a 40 mile radius has it.
