Thanks OK, for the pix! Woodlawn is a gem in our city, and especially beautiul in the fall and spring.

There's one headstone that I've always found intriguing. It's located near the corner of Jackman and Hillcrest, and it simply reads All Of Us.

Pretty spooky!

Very nice pics, thanks for sharing. I live pretty close, but have never been inside Woodlawn.

Anniecski..I always wonder about that one too.

I walk thru Woodlawn a few times a year. They usually have some decent memorial services on the holidays, too.

Woodlawn is worth visiting - even if you just drive through. There are many people and families buried there who were the old blood of Toledo. The headstones and monuments really are impressive. This cemetery is respected world wide among those who like cemetery art.

They even offer tours, which I recommend.

Oops, the Woodlawn Cemetery Tombstone Tour was last Sunday.

Woodlawn, like many old cemeteries, is a good wintertime birdwatching spot.

The Toledo Naturalists held a field trip at Woodlawn earlier this month to see the trees.

The Historic Woodlawn Cemetery is home to over three hundred species of trees including a State Champion Purple European Beech tree. The one hundred and sixty wooded acres presents an excellent variety of trees found in a typical Eastern deciduous woodland area.
