Halloween Party Prep - there's a brain in my freeze :D

It's that time of year where you can have frozen body parts in your freezer, AND ITS OKAY!

I'm prepping for our annual Halloween Party for the kids and wanted to share some of the mayhem going down in prep for a massive 12 - 15 kid party at our house. Anyone else have little tips, tricks, or contest ideas for me?

Unfortunately, I don't have any hints or tips. However, I love when people indulge in Halloween. I'm now a fan of you.

I would suggest crumbling the Oreos to make them look like dirt before adding the worms.

That's all I got.

JJFad - already crumbled the Oreos to make them look like dirt, the worms were put in first then the dirt added. I put one complete cookie in each cup to use as a 'scoop' for the pudding.

Hint: Everything looks better after a few drinks.
Tip: Spike the jello with vodka.

Madjack - tempting, certainly if it were a sleep over and Iw anted the kids asleep by midnight.

I just downloaded all the old school original black and white Addam's Family series and the Munsters to play all day and night.

Ohio K, I've made this stuff for Halloween that totally freaks out the kids but tastes delish.

Here's the recipe (and yes, I realize it's full of sugar. Don't judge.)

Dead fingers

1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup corn syrup
2/3 cup confectioners' sugar
About 1 cup nonfat dry milk
sliced almonds

In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter and corn syrup. Gradually add confectioners' sugar and stir with a wooden spoon until smooth. Add dry milk a little at a time and stir until mixture is stiff enough to work with your hands. Roll into a long rope 1/2-inch thick. Cut with scissors or a knife into 1 1/2-inch pieces.

Take each piece and roll it in your hand until it becomes about as big as your finger. Gently squeeze it until it looks slighly bent and gnarly, like a finger with knuckles. Press an almond slice into one end to be the fingernail. Arrange on a plate, all pointing outward.

Very spooky!

One of the other moms is sending over dead fingers - awesome tip, we got it covered :D

For those out there who have not tried it, it is awesome!

I made some pretty cool monster cupcakes, but I can't figure out how to get the pix on here.
