Mud Hens are losing Larry Parrish!

Going to the show !! Congrats to Larry, he has been great for the Hens and Tiger organizations

After the last couple of seasons, I'm not the least surprised.

how the hens do has much more to do with the tigers either calling personnel up or trading top prospects for other players. parrish is a good manager and a very good teacher of the game - we were lucky to have him for the time we did. thanks coach and best of luck in the future!

Parrish did an awesome job with the Hens. It seemed as though he has come to love working in Toledo and he will be missed by the organization and the city. But, a shot at the majors...and the lifestyle and money that goes with it...is a pretty big deal!

I too hope he makes it...and I hope the Tigers find someone just as good to fill the vacancy.

As a long time season ticket holder, I've seen the great and the not so great. I'm painfully aware of the near devastation sometimes caused by the Tigers calling up players.

But that's the name of the game - that's why the Hens exist. And, you work with what you've got.

While I thank Larry for many great/good seasons and wish him all the best, I believe that the Hens will be well served by some fresh blood. It is time for Larry to move on.
