Real Estate Agents

Does anyone have any personal experience with real estate agents who are aggressive and knowledgable about Lucas and Wood County?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Yeah, Judy Stone is great if you want the Old West End. Outside of that, look elsewhere.

I've had Tim Yackee with Sulphur Springs, help me with buying and selling for me personally and for a client who I built new for. Aggressive can mean so many things to so many people. I'll settle for professionalism and knowledge.

I've used Jack Schroeder to sell two properties and buy another. He has a team so it's easier to get answers when you need them.

By aggressive I mean an agent who will be extremely active in promoting my house.

MoreThan, go with Michelle Nieman at Danberry. She is very, very solid as far as knowledge of the area, and very aggressive when it comes to marketing homes. She and her husband work as a team and did a fantastic job for me 8 years ago.

In fact, we had purchased one of her listings, and she was listing ours as well. Ours didn't sell right away, but I was pregnant and eager to get into the new home. The sellers weren't able to get into their new house in another city on our timetable, so Michelle set it up that they rented from us for two months and we moved into their house. Moving day was crazy, since we were basically switching houses!

I really felt that she had our best interests in mind, she communicated with us after every showing, and even had our home on a tour for Danberry realtors. Can't recommend her enough.

Of all the realtors that I came into contact with in 2008, only one stood out in his professionalism and candor: Richard L. Snider of Re/Max, 419-215-7474 / 800-458-1188.

Disclaimer: Although he showed us some properties, it was only a matter of luck that we bought through an auction elsewhere, having more than one iron in the fire, so to speak. So I feel there's no conflict of interest in recommending Mr. Snider.

P.S. And Judy Stone in the Old West End comes in a close 2nd. Again, no conflict of interest here, since due to an auction I didn't actually buy through her. Good recommendations, people!

I used Brad Plocex at Remax for buying and selling in that range. I would recommend him.

Julia Trickey with Danberry sold my house. She really cares about her clients and did so much more than other agents I've worked with. I know several people she has helped and we all love her!

Danberry is leagues above the other brokers in the area as far as marketing tools, especially internet tools. Did you know 90% of people start their home search online? We share our listings with more websites and have more realtors working with buyers in the area. We have more visitors to our site than our next six competitors combined (numbers are from www.compete.com). We also have a great mobile site that many buyers use as their driving around. Visitors from BlackBerry, Droid and IPhone are increasing rapidly. I could go on...Anyway, Michelle Nieman is a great referral, I have more if you want to call me at 419-534-6592 - Debbie M. Good luck - we have our house on the market now too. :)
