As a south Toledo resident, I was wondering if there are any big plans of economic development going on? I think south toledo is the place to be, but there seems to be a dying culture... anyway to prevent this or any thing good coming?
Has the owners of southwyck property or city contacted IKEA or any other large destination place for the Southwyck development? It seems that more and more businesses are leaving that "horseshoe" of offices...
Should have built the Casino there.
It appears that no matter what the city gets fooled into spending on making Reynolds Road pretty, business is just leaving the area. All beautification efforts should be stopped. Unfortunately, no majority voted for fiscal conservatives for mayor or council, so that's impossible to realize.
LOL.
For at least two years, every building along the horseshoe of offices on Southwyck Blvd. has either a for sale or for lease sign.
The Southwyck area is dead...people will get over it just as they did when Swayne Field died 45 years ago on Detroit Ave & Monroe Street.
