Reason I ask is that he hasn't post here in several months. Hope he's alright, I miss his movie reviews. Just concerned.
Anyone know Darkseid personally?

I believe he came to one of the ToledoTalk meetups, once. People get tired of the blogging thing. I take time off, myself.
INeedCoffee, it has been a little longer than several months. His profile page shows that his last post occurred in September 2009, and the last time he logged in was October 2009.

There was another thread along this line a few months back. I think McCaskey knows him... which, by the way, I haven't seen McCaskey around for a while. Somebody finally collect the bounty?
Talk about a kind warm. I'm seriously having mental trouble with time flying. After you mentioned it jr I dug this up.

I'm still on the loose, Jack. Catch me if you can.
As for Darkseid, I do not know him personally. I gleaned enough about him over time from his posts that I discovered his first name was Dave. He posted a helluva lot for years, one of the original members of this site or close to it, then suddenly stopped 15 months ago. To me, that's not just 'taking time off from blogging.' My guess is he became suddenly ill, then...well, that part I can only speculate.
He did (or does) have family in the area; I remember him writing about a daughter. But my sense was he spent alot of time alone and blogs like this filled his time. That's why I doubt he's just 'taking a break.'
We really got into it on the 'smoking ban' issue and other topics and he called me every vile name in the book, which over time was a souce of never-ending amusement. I fully admit to posting things I knew would yank his chain; it never took much.
I really don't think Darkseid is with us any more.
As a followup, he was at least retirement age, because he loved to say he's retired and 'doesn't have to take orders anymore' or something along those lines. LOL, that was Darkie...his pet names for me were 'McAsskey', 'McCasket', and others with multiple f-bombs preceeding and following said 'nicknames.' Too funny...
McCaskey that's some funny stuff.

Is it confirmed that he has passed? I know he also made a post on swampbubbles where he said he wasn't happy coming on anymore.
"Is it confirmed that he has passed?"
No.
Darkseid began as user Foolkiller, but he changed names early on for some reason. He made over 3700 posts.
- Member since: April 29, 2005
- Last logged-in visit: March 20, 2006
- Foolkiller has submitted 17 topics and 762 comments to Toledo Talk
- Blissfully-and finally-retired. Our local politicos can no longer steal my tax dollars, as I don't pay any. I used to collect comics, which is where I took the name Foolkiller-he was a Marvel comics character who was a vigilante. Today collect movie posters, Godzilla, robots, original comic art, & pretty much whatever tickles my fancy.
- Member since: Mar 20, 2006
- Last logged-in visit: Oct 25, 2009
- Darkseid has contributed to 264 articles and has submitted 1406 comments at the new version of Toledo Talk.
- At the old version of Toledo Talk, Darkseid posted 84 topic(s) and 1227 comment(s).
- The entity formerly known as Foolkiller. Blissfully retired & roaming the Known Universe in search of The Cosmic Cube. Used to collect comics and magazines from the early 60's through the 80's. They became too expensive & ran out of room, so-I now collect: Original comic book/comic strip/cartoon art, Godzilla stuff, Good Girl Art, Star Trek & Star Wars stuff,Space guns/Ray guns. and original movie posters & lobby cards.
Thanks for the information, ah, fucking McCaskey. LOL!
Anyway, with a name like Darkseid, you just know the New Gods imprisoned him eventually. DOUBLE LOL!
Mikey---It was just speculation on my part about his health. Who really knows?
He HATED Swampbubbles at some point when Myers started playing 'language cop', but still posted on here until he suddenly stopped.
He might have topped himself when Pelosi was named Speaker of the House; he branded her 'Bela Pelosi' (for her resemblence obviously to a certain old-time horror movie actor)...I fell off my chair laughing, complimented him, and he proceeded to tell me lick the back of his private parts...ah yes, the lovable Darkie...
I was also 'McAsskisser'...thanks, Coffee, now I'll be strolling through old posts for a 'best of Darkseid'...

Use this as a reminder to put it in your will to have your executor post your obit on all your message boards!
Maybe not go that far, but it might be nice for your family if you put your e-mail usernames and passwords in your will so they can retrieve your writing. I remember reading a story about how Yahoo! or one of the other major e-mail providers refused to provide passwords to surviving family members of Iraq/Afghanistan war dead (and, I think, won the case in court too).
Think about how much you write via e-mail. Those are today's versions of the letters our great-grandparents wrote (although certainly not as well constructed, grammar-wise!). You could pass down a great history of yourself (hopefully) just by having family being able to access your account. What do you care? You'll be gone!
Of course, if you are using your main e-mail address to facilitate an affair (or several), perhaps the account should die with you. But leaving important passwords to e-mail, banking, and other accounts should be updated into a will nowadays, since we do everything online.
Adios, Darkseid

You could pass down a great history of yourself...
You know, I never thought of that. Like, for instance, if Ryan or DHR finally offered conclusive proof that there really is someone for everyone, and then wanted to show their children what dumb fucks they have for parents, well then - there's your answer to everything! You just saddle someone as your unofficial digital estate executor, pass them the sites, accounts and passwords and then go blow your brains all over your living room wall.
Eventually your relatives will be able to read all about you and gain important insight into your character.

Yeah, way to go INeedCoffee. McCaskey was probably having a real nice evening until you had to come along and remind him of the way Darkseid used to call him names.
Don't worry, McCaskey. I think you're okay no matter what anyone else says.
Although we can't be one hundred percent sure, I doubt that anything bad happened to Darkseid. Like McCaskey pointed out, he was one of the more vocal objectors to Chris's use of that goofy language filter. I think he may have just gotten bored and quit.
Classy Madjack...did you think that up while peeing in the sink?
No. Why?
Coffee, there's no bad memories. Just laughs remembering the give and take. I gave as good as I got. I'd enjoy seeing him return.
oldhometown, you have an excellent point.
"... but it might be nice for your family if you put your e-mail usernames and passwords in your will so they can retrieve your writing."
From the spring of 2004 to the spring of 2005, I enjoyed spirited ebates with user Chaz. From his comments, I think he said he was a retired UT administrator. He also alluded to health problems. And then suddenly he stopped posting. I thought back then that if something had happened to Chaz, did his family know that he posted to a message board, and would they be interested in what he wrote?
Hold on! I just now poured through some of Chaz's Toledo Talk comments and conducted a Google search, and now I need to amend my "Jump To Conclusions" mat.
Chaz is still kicking. It seems he switched from writing on a message board to writing a book. All these years I've been wondering what happened to that rascal, and I only needed to spend a few minutes with something called a Web search, which is a technology that I think will catch on.
Aug 2004 Chaz Toledo Talk comment :
From the above comment, I found his full name at the UT Web site. That led to his blog, his LinkedIn page, Wikipedia page, and his Amazon author profile page.
Excerpts form his January 2010 blog post titled What I Learned about Book Publishing and Marketing
After three years of prodigious research and effort, I produced an epic work of historical fiction, called Jacob’s Courage: A Holocaust Love Story (2007, Mazo Publishers).
If I can impress any single feature upon you, it is the need to give the publisher exactly what they demand in a proposal (or give an agent everything that they demand in a query letter) and then to be very patient and committed. I had to contact more than 100 publishers in order to generate four solid contract offers. The last offer turned out to be the best one. Had I selected an earlier contract offer, I would have missed out on the best match for my novel.
Jacob’s Courage is a tender coming of age love story of two young adults living in Salzburg at the time when the Nazi war machine enters Austria. This historical novel presents scenes and situations of Jews in ghettos and concentration camps, with particular attention to Theresienstadt and Auschwitz. It explores the dazzling beauty of passionate love, powerful faith and enduring bravery in a lurid world where the innocent are brutally murdered. From desperate despair, to unforgettable moments of chaste beauty, Jacob’s Courage examines a constellation of emotions during a time of incomprehensible brutality. We recently got a Kindle, and Chaz's book is available for the Kindle.
From the Wikipedia page:
Chaz contributes to the Toledo Examiner.com.
Excerpts from a Jan 11, 2011 Examiner article about Chaz titled Examiner Author Interviewed on Internet and by Newspapers
In December 2010, Weinblatt was the subject of an interview by Award-winning author Mike Angley here: http://childfinder.us/?p=2567 . Prior to that, he was interviewed by the popular Joey Pinkney on "Five Minutes-Five Questions" here: http://h1t.it/boB8Bk .
In November, The Toledo Blade'sreligion editor, David Yonke, produced an article about Weinblatt's ability to overcome a major disability and achieve success as a writer. The Bladearticle is here: http://toledoblade.com/article/20101113/NEWS10/11120358/-1/NEWS . Forced into retirement by the tremendous pain from his disability, Weinblatt must be horizontal virtually all of the time. Yet, he remains able to remain a productive writer with a laptop computer.
Toledo Free Presseditor, Michael Miller, produced an article about Weinblatt's recent lecture at the Monroe (Michigan) County Community College here: http://tiny.cc/vd09m .
Toledo Free Press editor Michal Miller called Weinblatt’s novel the “Forrest Gump of the Holocaust.” He remarked how Weinblatt had successfully created a fictitious depth of characters and placed them into accurate historical situations.
The global organization Jewish Literary Reviewalso featured Weinblatt as the topic of an article related to Holocaust Remembrance Day and his novel Jacob's Courage here: http://tiny.cc/mnxga .In summary, maybe Darkseid is writing a book.

Interesting stuff.
If Darkseid's writing a novel, perhaps there's a 'McAsskey' character. He could do self-help; top 1,000 most innovative, expressive uses for the F-bomb.
this was on NPR this past Monday:
http://www.npr.org/2011/01/10/132617124/after-death-protecting-your-digital-afterlife
On Sunday, I had re-written my Little Book of Passwords and showed it to my husband, who does not compute and will have to get my daughter to help him if it comes to that. Guess I had better update the will, too.
Ah yes, dear Chaz. He was oh-so-wrong about the entirety of socio-economics in Toledo, but gee, now this retard is writing a book.
No wonder he retreated into historical fiction. He can't handle the present era, and must return to a simpler era where his insane beliefs had widespread acceptance or applicability (like unions, Keynesian economics, educated management, etc.).
OK this is what I've been able to gather based on his past posts. He is/would be about 69. He grew up on Liberty St. in East Toledo. Seems like he has two sisters and one brother. He was still living in East Toledo during the blizzard of 78. He worked at Devilbis for 22 years until it closed (and was a union steward)and worked at Convergy's when 9/11 happened, the day after 9/11 he went to part time and started looking for something else, and he hated the place and participated on a website (that no longer exist's) called convergyssucks.com (or something like that)
So is there anyone perhaps who worked there around that time that might know him or know of him?

It would appear that Lisa from Glass City Jungle must have known Darkseid in real live via Convergys.
Fighting through a disability to write a book...
JR, being retarded is not considered a disability; it's a challenge. Why are you so insensitive?
madjack, I guess you're joking. I was referring to Chaz's real physical disability.
"In 2004, I was forced into retirement from The University of Toledo due to degenerative disc disease. At age 51, I had to step away from a rewarding career."

(sigh) Dark made me laugh, but somewhere he's the one laughing we're spending so much time on this.
Out of curiousity, how many posts did you search through and how much time did it take to get this amount of info? Not being snarky, I'm honestly curious.
As I said, I believe his first name was Dave. Take that and the above info and if there's online obits available to search through beginning with shortly after his last post on here there's a distinct possibility of finding Darkseid, IMO.
That will have to be someone else's assignment; good night and good luck.
McCaskey, I spent probably an hour and a half on it. Once i started reading the old foolkiller posts, i kind of got engrossed. 8-)
McCaskey, there's a searchable death index at toledolegalnews.com
I believe its compiled from all the coroner's reports. Fairly comprehensive & its searchable by name.
(If anyone is inclined to look...)
Thanks mom2, i did look (don't ask me why - i don't know) but there wasn't any that looked like it could be him, so maybe he is simply enjoying his grandkids.
I thought Kateb was a friend of Dark's for some reason. I could be wrong though.
Maybe he's still on the board, but changed his username. Hmmm.
Oh No! Uh Uh! Absolutely not! His posts had an ummistakeable "flavor", shall we say. Unless he's had a personality transplant he's not posting.
Where ever he his, I hope he's enjoying himself.
"Oh No! Uh Uh! Absolutely not! His posts had an ummistakeable "flavor", shall we say. Unless he's had a personality transplant he's not posting."
Hahaha. I guess you're right. I did not have the "pleasure" of his company since he was here before my time, but he obviously made an impression on people.
I wonder if he ever received my kiss?
He might have, but McCaskey offered him a hat tip which should have provoked the standard response...
If Darkseid was telling the truth about music he listened to:
I was around for the gradual change from pop/easy listening to rock and roll, and used to listen to Kate Smith, Perry Como, Rosemary Clooney, etc;that type of stuff when I was a kid
Darkseid would be pretty old by now. I know who Como and Clooney are, but I don't remember hearing them on the radio.
"change from pop/easy listening to rock and roll"
That would have been about 1956 or so. Chuck Barry and Elvis were coming out about then. Darkseid may have been in his early 'teens at that time. Hard to say how old he would be now, but probably anywhere from his late sixties to mid-seventies.
If he's an Eastsider, chances are I know him or someone who does. Hell, I may have served him a drink at one time or another.
A comment on his own post-interesting on the rat control position.

A while back, this goofy-looking bastard took money away from the rat control fund (and I think eliminated a position) in order to be able to afford to harass smokers. Yeh...REALLY a great BOH head. I wish to hell they were elected, maybe we could get rid of him.
Incidentally: The "Relevance" of the incident was for people who either missed it or weren't aware of it. I'd forgotten to post it right after it happened. I'd suggest also remembering this the next time the cops either want more funding for more cops, or want a raise. Personally, I'm never voting for a tax increase on anything again
I have no idea why I'm back on this thread.

Why are you guys talking about me? LOL! I am not "Darkseid;" nor do I know who he or she is. I am not "69." I am 58. I did not grow up on "Liberty Street, in the East Side." I grew up on Drummond Road, in the Old Orchard area. I do not have "two sisters and a brother." I'm an only child. I did not live in the East Side during the "blizzard of 1978." I lived on Coronada, in the Franklin Park area. I currently live in Sylvania. I did not "work for Devilbiss (sic) for 22 years until it closed." However, through my consulting practice, I delivered an outplacement program (job seeking skills) for DeVilbiss workers when the company closed.
My primary career was at The University of Toledo, where I created a led a division called Organization Development. I was not "a union steward." But, I was awarded the 2004 Swift Award by the United Auto Workers for meritorious service to the community. I never "worked for Convergys."Nor am I responsible for a web site called, "convergyssucks.com."
I did have to retire in 2004, at the age of 51, due to disability. After three wicked disc herniations and four failed spine surgeries, I can no longer sit upright or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. I’ve lived with constant pain for more than thirty years. In retirement, I turned to writing. I’ve been traditionally published twice; in 1986, for a work of non-fiction called Job Seeking Skills for Students, and in 2007 for a novel called Jacob's Courage.
I'll admit, it's been more than a few years since I've dropped in here. In fact, were it not for Google trolling the Internet on specific search terms, I would never have remembered that this site existed. It's been an interesting experience reading your comments about me. Considering that I am not exactly a household name, I found these observations strange and droll. At any rate, here I am; at your mercy. So, at least one you may now publicly exclaim, "HE LIVES!"
Chaz: This thread contains comments about two posters who have been MIA on Toledo Talk for a while: you and Darkseid. The thread started with comments and details people recalled from Darkseid, and then it morphed into a brief discussion about your (Chaz) work/community contributions, before jumping back to Darkseid.

Oh look, it's Chaz/cweinbl. The wonderboy who thought that "placement programs" and education other such balderdash would help bring Toledo back. Well, it's been years since I told you exactly how wrong you were, and what do you know? Things are continuing to fall apart in exactly that way. Government is obsolete in Toledo. We don't need elites touting programs, which just sucks up more of ever less money in order to keep your class of person in your usual caviar. We just need you elites to vanish and let the rest of us re-arrange the economy for a new order, which is something on the level of Albania.
It's disgusting that even with perpetual economic collapse, Toledoans are still following your line of propaganda, thinking that things will "recover". They will never recover. The era of cheap oil is over. All of the American lifestyle depended on cheap oil. The 20th Century was not the century of technology or nuclear politics. It was the Century of Cheap Petroleum. The 21st Century can only be the Century of Expensive Petroleum.
So, Chaz, for those who refuse to adopt your line of propaganda, the only proper preparations for the future are for artificial scarcity in the near term of a period of 5-10 years, then real shortages in the medium term of a period of 10-20 years, and then a reversion to local production and consumption in the long term of a generation or more. The end product will spell the absolute end of your establishment of a deceitful, selfish elite class. No more of those cozy office jobs with retirement benefits, all just to pipeline BULLSHIT into the minds and TVs and papers of the hapless subjects of this failed empire.
Welcome back Chaz...I'm guessing you can remember why you left now. :)
Yeah, Chaz, welcome back. Sorry to hear about your hard luck.
Don't recall Chaz, must have been before my time, but looks like he's overcome and accomplished more than most people in life, certainly including those who revel in 'winning' some bullshit online debate from years gone by.
Thanks for your very kind words. I'm delighted to see you again (well, almost all of you).
I am beginning to remember you,"GuestZero." That rant shook off some rust. Maybe I am just a propagana-spewing "elites" (sic) snob. You could be right about me. Things are still going wrong, so I must be just a dumb "wonderboy" with a "program" (whatever that program was). I certainly know about "placement programs" as I spent the first 15 years of my career delivering psychiatric and vocational rehabilitation counseling. I also had an outplacement consulting practice for more than 20 years. Placement programs serve the needs of students and rehabilitation clients. So, perhaps you could do us all a favor and remind me about the context in which I recommended "placement programs." I would do the research, but I am putting the finishing touches on a children's book and a science fiction novel. Plus, I have all of that "balderdash" to get back to. Producing balderdash can be a very tiresome occupation. And, it takes forever to remain an "elites," whatever that is. So, I really don't have the time to research "placement programs" on the old Toledo Talks" web site.
Come to think of it, SensorG, I am beginning to recall why I left this place for so long. But, I'd like to thank everyone here for their kind words. I'm happy that you're still at it here. Keep up the good work!
Chaz
Chaz said: “ Producing balderdash can be a very tiresome occupation. ”
Not as tiresome as having to challenge it when it threatens to consume society ... as yours does with such frequency.
That you are dead wrong is now established fact. Your entire paradigm of using formalized education and Liberal establishment to fix social problems is a discredited one. Higher education itself has priced itself out of all relevancy in this nation. People like you are responsible for that. And I'm never going to let you forget it.
Since you cannot sanely defend your ideological positions, leaving is about all you could have done that was within your power. Certainly you didn't have the facts and logic on your side, and as I said before, time is only affirming that my facts and logic were square on.
I didn't want you to leave before, however, and that's still my desire now. Due to the mainstream media's function as yet another propaganda outlet, this website is our rare chance to demonstrate that your class of person represents the "bad example". Being a part of a failed educational institution, you pretty much have social crimes to account for. So here, you will account. Stay, then, please. I have much to admonish you for, and you're going to just have to stand there and take it.
As a follow-on reminder to McCaskey: We should ever strive to be correct. What we say, what we think, and how we act, should all align precisely with that thing known as "reality".
When we are proven to have been correct in the face of significant adversity, we should take joy in it. I can only assume that you seldom if ever experience that. There are several reasons why that is, and none of it is flattering to yourself.
Well, let's see. GuestZero has branded me a liberal (guilty, your honor), an "elites" (sorry, that's not a valid word), a "propagandist" (sorry, that infers that I have something to propagandize and I do not), a "wonderboy" (sic). Again, that’s not a word. OK, my 101-year-old mother would agree with that. You call me a person who proffers "placement programs" (hmm... what's that?). You say that I’m a person whose class imbibes caviar (have you seen my portfolio?). I don’t even like caviar. You say that I’m a person who "promotes deceitful, selfish elite class" When and where did I say that?
GuestZero, you don't even know where I stand on issues because I've postulated none here. Yet, you feel comfortable criticizing me because of what? My career? My religion? My publishing record? My research? What am I to you? Am I some bourgeoisie Jew who had a university career and is therefore not to be trusted?
Meanwhile, notice that I’ve said nothing derogatory about you. That, my blowhard friend, is because I do not denigrate people when I lack sufficient facts to substantiate my denigration. Moreover, it is bad manners to disparage others in public. A person with class would instead proffer their own ideas, substantiated by facts and valid references.
Yes, my career was at a university. And, in universities we learn to argue without resort to personal innuendo or rumor. We do not say that we are right because someone else is “elitist” (yes, that’s the word you should have used), liberal (which does not make an argument false or valid), a “propagandist” (aren’t we all?) or a “wonderboy” (sic).
Perhaps, one day, I will decide to post a point here. Meanwhile, there is nothing to criticize.
GZ: Consider a few quotes from cweinbl's contributions.
Why are you guys talking about me? LOL! I am not "Darkseid;"
I would never have remembered that this site existed.
It's been an interesting experience reading your comments about me.
Perhaps, one day, I will decide to post a point here.
Clearly the man has an issue with his self-confidence. Why hammer him when he's down?
Jack, actually, it's GZ that has an issue with self-confidence...and self-pity. The entire 'elitist' rant reeks of a need for a trip to a psychiatrist's couch.
The fact he harbors a need to trumpet his 'told you so' victory---if in fact he's even 'victorious'---from a blog thread...what, five years or more ago?...speaks volumes.
The other guy has books published; GZ upchucks mean-spirited babble on Toledo blogs; that is to say he still lives here, among us moronic-voting 'retards', in this city he declared dead and buried years ago, evidently unable to pull himself up, out and away from the muck and mire surrounding him.
What a bore...and what a boor.
This has been a fun thread to read. It does go to show that people can become attached to an online persona and even if you haven't meet find some kind of friendship or at least interest in their well being.
My best friend in the world back is tech savvy, we studied CS together. After reading here I made a simple text file with all my passwords, account info, online sites such as TT, and financial info and encrypted it using his public key and sent it on a USB drive.
This is really the only place I asked him to update.
Hope you're out there Darkseid and in good health, and if not my prayers are with you and your peace.

::ahem::
Yes, McCaskey, I got that. I was making a funny. It is obvious to me that Chas does not have a problem with his self-confidence, and so...
See?
I hope he's alive an just where he cannot post. Darkseid always made me laugh. His posts reminds me of so many in Toledo who get REALLY worked up over even small issues.
Notice well that cweinbl/Chaz brought up his religion, TWICE. No one else did. He needs to make it an issue, not me.
I've spoken on other threads about what I call "minority racists". They are the worst of the bunch, since they clothe themselves first in robes of anti-racism.
He's extremely wounded from being found out as a complete blowhard. He's dead wrong in his socio-economic theories and he fucking well knows it. Now we all know it, and exposing such things is the true anathema of his kind ... the elite, without any regard to his religious practices.
Pathetic. It's pathetic that people like him were well paid participants in our society's institutions. No wonder our entire civilization is imploding. We handed policy production over to the least able people extant.
GuestZero, my post-X-mas wish for you the gift of a sense of humor. I'm not"pathetic," no matter what my wife said to you. My religion is non-sequitur. I'm not a "minority racist," although I've a victim of prejudice and bigotry many times. It really helps to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
GZ, our civilization is not "imploding." Give it a rest. Have fun. Life is far too short for such a serious attitude.
Chaz (Cweinbl)
Of course our civilization is imploding, you moron. It was wholly based on cheap petroleum, whose time is completely over. The elites like you can't sanely keep denying that.
Once again, YOU brought up your religion. YOU are the minority racist, here. It seems that when YOU aren't being hit with anti-Semitism, YOU manufacture it like any of the rest of your straw men, since YOU have nothing else of facts and logic to support your point of view.
Keep posting. I like exposing the insanity, stupidity, and racism of the elites. The end of cheap oil is putting all of your bullshit to bed. Say goodbye to your consumerism. Say goodbye to unions. Say goodbye to liberalism. Say goodbye to pensions. You aren't ready for all of that, Chaz. Thankfully, you'll kick the bucket before Gen-X and Gen-Y have to fix all the nonsense you Boomers created.
GZ, you are such a prolific insult-hurler! I love reading your posts. One must need to cultivate this talent over many years. In one fell swoop, you have called me a "moron, elites" (OK, that's not really a word), "minority racist" (is that technically possible?), "straw man" (is this an artifact from The Wizard of Oz?), "insane, stupid, racist" and once more the make-believe word, "elites." You call my comments "bullshit" and you accuse me of "consumerism" (have you been opening my Visa bills?). You must certainly be privvy to my doctor's files to know that I will soon "kick the bucket." Of course, accidents happen all the time to people who disparage others. And, my mother is 101 and still healthy. So, don't assume that you will outlive me. The world can hope, after all.
Now I know what I have missed these past years here. It's YOU, GZ! I taught people like you before you were a glimmer in anyone's eyes. You think that you know everything about everyone and everything. Look up the Yiddish word "Mayven." It's what you dream to become. I really get a kick out of your comments. It is a bright spot in these drab winter days.
My most fervent wish for you, GZ, is a post-graduate education at any solid university in any liberal arts program, preferably Political Science. May your petroleum-fueled dreams be fulfilled with a strong dose of explosive reality. Me thinks the only "nonsense" here is your attitude. On the other hand, it is the only truly humerous news around here!
Keep it up GZ!
Of course being a minority racist is possible. We see it all the time in separatist elements who try to blame the majority for all ills, real or imagined, and then insist on being compensated. Look at Conyers. He submits a slavery-reparations bill in each and every Congressional session. Telling a majority that they are responsible, is racism.
The rest of your drivel is just that: Drivel. Like most of your kind, you never really run into real intellectual opposition, since you clothe yourself in systems that, well, systematically exclude all dissent. We're the most propagandized people to have ever existed, and the proof of that is from the obvious and extreme dichotomy of our education system and the prevailing culture of structured ignorance.
I can't expect you to ever agree. For you, that would be a conflict of interest that's too intrinsic to the mechanisms that obtained your paychecks and then retirement benefits. I never expect a man to understand anything that runs against his wealth, as Upton Sinclair's famous quote reminds us.
But I'm not really talking to you about these issues. You're the bad example that I keep telling people about. So I'm speaking instead to the audience.
GZ, I am SO sorry to be a "bad example." Gee, I wish I could find some way to make it up to you. Maybe I could cut your grass and shovel your snow, to make up for my ignorant, "pathetic" postulations. Maybe then, after all of my liberal weakness, you would stop hurling invetives and insults in my direction. I'm so sorry, Mastah! I promise to let you inflict uncontrolled distaste and disgust in my direction. After all, I'm just an ignorant, retired university administrator, with no credibility or comprehension. Please nail me (and "my kind") to the cross, like that other Jew 2,000 years ago! I'm guilty of being... "pathetic." In return, for the brief time that I will survive upon the cross, I promise to praise you, GZ. You are indeed our deity. All hail GZ! We don't hope to understand the veracity of your existence. Instead, we are left only to worship it.
You should be sorry, Chaz. But that's a big part of the problem. You aren't sorry at all.
Why do you keep bringing up Judaism? I've said nothing of the kind. You're sort of lost in the arena of public criticism unless you can scream "anti-semitism" or something? Truly pathetic.
Keep talking, since the bad example you proffer becomes ever wider.
"Pitiful, transient beings. Their hour upon the stage is so indelibly brief. They would sooner have evolved to something of value. A prouder form... one of loftier ideals. And one without such petty concerns. The universe needs something closer to its kind. For Man is too cynical. It's not a time for Gods" - Darkseid

Prick us; do we not bleed?
Tickle us; do we not laugh?
Poison us; do we not die?
Wrong us; shall we not have revenge?
We are a product of darkness, a sinister bully kept barely restrained. Unleash the monster and revisit the Holocaust. Our moral compass is in disrepair, allowing us to become consumers, ethical hedonists, persecutors and destroyers of justice.
Who shall save us from ouselves?
