People downtown are holding signs that say "honk for weed". Does anyone know why?

I think it's probably part of the Legalize Marijuana protest.
It's a legalize medicinal marijuana rally. The only problem I see with it is that it's just a group of dirty hippies standing around yelling about weed. I am all for legalizing pot, but it's kind of hard to take them seriously.

Until these stoners figure out they have cut off their dreadlocks and put on a shirt and tie, no one will ever take them seriously.
Downtown on a Sunday has also got to be one of the quietest parts of the city. Way to get the message out.
