I want to see that spot do well because I think Metropolis is good for Toledo. I want to see Andrew Z do well to make up for all the stuff that has gone down during the last year or so.

But... how is this place going to make money being open only two nights a week? I get maybe thursday and friday are much better nights at the docks than sunday-wednesday, but why not start by finding a good all around pizzeria-type location, and build from there? Levis Commons was probably decent, except for the high rent - and obviously he's not allowed back there. Isn't there another spot around town that would work?

I wish both parties well and hope this new venture works out.

Curious does he still own that hair salon that's still at Levis? Never seen that mentioned anywhere else.

As for the pizza place, looking forward to it. My girl and I were just talking last weekend how we were craving one of those medium dish pizza's.

This is hilarious! Another business that will fail at the docks not to mention that this will be another failed business of Andrew Z. I'm sorry but this guy is the worst business man ever! My question is where is the $$ coming from? He has three failed pizza places or is it four...fired from KISS and indicted for unpaid taxes...hmmm sounds a little shady to me. I can't imagine he made that much money at KISS that he is willing to keep pouring it into crappy pizza businesses.

Unless he is getting free rent I cannot imagine anyone trying to establish another restaurant in downtown Toledo. I'm sorry AZ but this is going to be another FAIL.

lol, he sure can't borrow it from his MOM!!! He didn't even make enuff money at KISS to bankroll all that other shit and he took his mom down with him, financially. what a crock. I'm GLAD the Chinese are coming in with new money and, hopefully, new ideas, because no-one already here seems to be able to have any.

On his facebook he said the city is giving him heat? Huh? It seems like everything he says is the blame game. Good luck Cumulus.

So...AZ opened in Pburg and it was closed for nonpayment of rent...how long did this last? Was it even a year? Then he opens the express downtown, that lasted maybe 4 mths, then he was moving this location to the Ole Taco (or whatever it was called) site a few blocks away...not to mention the failed pizza place in Defiance. When will it end? I gotta give his effort for trying but good lord give it up buddy, you are failing at this restaurant gig...stick to the radio.

At this point Andrew wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy a Pizza Hut or Cottage Inn franchise?

Whitey, it looks like all the rules will be tossed out the window. In Toledo, if you have the right last name, the rules just don't apply to you.
