Di Pasqualone on Woodville

Just noticed they opened up last night and was pretty impressed. Good food and decent service. I'd give it two thumbs up. Prices weren't to bad. They are right next to kroger where el camino used to be.

Also, for those of you who live on the eastside in Oregon....there will be a new hibachi resturant opening up on navarre next to yeehas before the summer time with a Sakura type them with them making food in front of you. Nice to see some new places go up in Oregon.

johnny, they moved into the church next to Ponderosa, across from the huge used car dealer in the old Bargain Shitty. GREAT building, really rockin place.

Heading to that italian place tonight, my nephew is a cook, all the guys there are from Biaggis in Pburg.

I loved that sushi place next to Yeehas, we were there every 2 weeks, guess it wasn't enuff. Is this new place the same people doing different things?

Thanks, toledolen_ for the link. After reading that article, I'm drooling for Italian. Yummmm. Fettucini Alfredo.

I first noticed Di Pasqualone was dark inside last week, and again today.

Another place with good food and decent prices that couldn't make it during a lousy economy.

The guy rented the building from Tom Cousino and I think Tom lost that building recently.

Sherry, thanks for the update.

It looks like before the bank foreclosed, Tom Cousino didn't pay 40k property taxes for the property that was Di Pasqualone restaurant.

Including what he owes in unpaid property taxes at the Cousino's steak house property, the amount is nearly 100k.

Of course he also didn't pay 100k of rent to the city of Toledo.

Also, the guy who was running the restaurant was not paying his employees and creditors. Left them all holding the bag when he booked, so its a combination of people not meeting their obligations. His yellow sports car is for sale, if you're interested.
