Some of us are fighting to save Libbey High School from the wrecking ball. It has made us more aware of historic buildings. Union School is Maumee was opened in 1870. Perhaps it is worthy of being on the National Register but it is not so. Two districts in Maumee, http://ohsweb.ohiohistory.org/ohpo/nr/results.aspx?showtable=true , are included plus several properties, but it seems that Union School does not fall into either of these districts. Anyone know anything about this?
