Today I was traveling along Talmadge. As I crossed the Monroe/Talmadge intersection, A red truck pulled out in front of me. The truck was exiting the Michael's parking lot. Due to wet roads, the asshole caused me to swerve onto the curb and (possibly) total my vehicle.
I'd really like to meet you so we can discuss the repair of my vehicle, and the repositioning of your face. ASSHOLE.

Thanks, Len. I've been trying to get video of the scene to find the driver.I don't think much will happen, but I'd really enjoy coming fate-to-face with this person.
What kind of damage to your car?

I've been going around cutting tires on all the red trucks I find today. Mark my word, You will be avenged JJFad. lol
Just kidding. I have often thought that everyone should have a paint ball gun to splatter a paint ball on any vehicle that drives like an idiot. Easy to follow and identify. But that's in my "perfect world".
Take comfort in the fact that it didn't harm you. Although not included in your post, I'm hoping your car is ok too.
hockeyfan- wouldn't it be better in your "perfect world" if people just didn't drive like idiots.
I think remote controlled tandem mounted .50 cal machine guns would be nice.

I'm glad you were unhurt, JJFad. Fortunately, this idiot did not cause an injury accident. I hope your insurance will help cover most of the repair work required on your vehicle. It sucks, though, that you have to deal with the mess.

As far as damage, the insurance company computed the damage to be approx. $3K. Thankfully, my car is not totaled. I had quite a few sore muscles after the accident since I got bounced around pretty good, but nothing that a few weeks in the gym won't cure.
I've always told my wife how much I hate people who turn left near intersections and cross the double-yellow lines. Wouldn't you know that this is the exact thing that caused my accident? I just don't understand how people misinterpret double-yellow lines. Just turn right!
On a positive note, my insurance agency gave me a 2011 all-wheel-drive Chevrolet Traverse. I've never had nor wanted an SUV, but this vehicle has changed my mind. Yeah, she's a petroleum-sucking whore, but my god I love this vehicle. There is nothing like the comfort of riding in an SUV -- bumps? what bumps? High curbs? I ride over those with ease. I can understand why Americans are willing to foot the uneconomical gas bill for SUVs. I have been investigating ways to send the Traverse to Thailand so that we can run away together.
Unfortunately, none of the businesses around the area where I was pushed off the road actually record the road with their cameras. The cameras were my last hope, but I'm sure nana is right -- karma is a bitch.
