I know all of the local news channels watch this site searching for news stories. So I'm going to take advantage of that and ask them to turn down the music. All of the channels have extra loud music when they tell whats "coming up" Channel 24 music is so loud I can hardly hear what the anchors are saying during that time. But they all are guilty.
Please, all of you, keep the music the same volume as you have the voices.

I have found similar problems on channel 48(w/o cable)Their shows are normal range, then they cut to commercial and I have to turn it down because the music is blaring loud. I find it very annoying.

you what drives me insane hearing Andrew Z on fox toledo news do his Rant and Rave.......god, that really grinds my gears if you will.
Our local tv news stations are so lame I don't even watch them anymore unless there are tornado or other weather storm warnings.
Our local news doesn't understand investigative reporting of our local politicians either. The biggest controversy they ever want to get involved with is consumer related garbage that the BBB ought to be dealing with instead.
Melissa Voetsch is now known as "Morticia" due to her constant wearing of black clothing on TV. Is she Goth in disguise?
I hadnt noticed she wore a lot of black. She is my favorite anchor. I'll have to see what she's wearing tomorrow. Probably be blue or something else since she's probably going to read your comment. They just dont dare tell us who they are or comment.
This morning, to my utter shock with laughter, she wore red. The dead has arisen :^D
It's Fox 36 HD. Unless it's sports, I don't watch the Fox 36 HD on Buckeye, I stick to the non-HD signal because the sound variance is so bad between commercials and the news program on HD I'm constantly adjusting the volume.
You can always put it on closed caption and the clothing "talking heads" choose to wear is based on telegenic aesthetics, that is some colors wash out the face/background... black/navy/brown usually don't
I used to love Melissa Voetsch until I did an on the set interview with my daughter with her. We weren't told anything that was going to be talked about, we weren't made to feel comfortable, after it was over she never said a word to myself or my daughter, she simply walked away. All of this after the 2 of us getting up at 4:00 AM to be down there shortly after 5:30. It just left me with an empty feeling inside and I haven't felt the same towards her since. I'm sure she's a nice person and I know that she does many good things for the community, but I just get the feeling that it's semi superficial in some ways. I don't know, maybe she was just having a rough morning or something...LOL!
My current favorite local morning anchor is Sashem Brey, she's a HOOT!
Anyone else hate the new 13abc.com? OMG, it totally SUX!

holly - I'm not fond of their new website either...some thinks I like, but for some things, it takes forever to get to the actual story...

EXACTLY Maggie! The thing I loved most about their website was that it loaded quickly and you immediately had news! Now you get a HORRIBLY slow page and are greeted with a huge picture of the anchors that sits there forever before you can finally get to the local stories! OK, they're a decent enough looking group, but I want NEWS! I emailed the webmaster letting them know how much I disliked the new site and have taken my online local news reading, school delay/closing watching elsewhere! I did the same thing (stopped going to the site) with Fox 36's new site! It's the most ungodly slow loading site I've ever been to because they have all those videos loading on the main page. I HATE channel 24, so I'm stuck now with WTOL and The Blade for local news online. I'm not happy about it, but I refuse to go to a site that isn't user friendly...LOL! Why yes Maggie, I am an ornery and opinionated witch, why do you ask? LOL ;-)

I dont like the videos either. I'd rather have a list of choices as to what I'd like to see or read about without it loading the whole slide show.
WTOLs music was lower today. I do have the HD tv so maybe thats part of it. Still. Music is suppose to be used in the back ground not as part of the main show.
