Really great to have a real art supply store in town. I know my mother, who is a potter, has to go to Michigan to buy clay, and I've had to order many things from catalogs. Looking forward to stopping in!

i'm pretty sure they can order anything, if they don't carry it in the store. ask!
They are actually asking for recommendations for what to stock from customers so let them know and they will get it.

Given the amount of effort that has went into promoting the art community in Toledo, it seems like the opening of this store would be a very positive thing.
(Says the person who can't even draw a good stick figure.) :)
The Art Supply Depo is indeed a fine store. I'm not an artist, however, but I needed art supplies, so I visited this store this morning. Co-owner and artist Jules Webster was very helpful. They are still adding new items. And as mentioned in comments above, they accept suggestions for additional items to sell. A store like this could encourage a person to get more serious about creating art. On Saturday, September 24, they offer an interesting workshop on scientific drawing and journaling. They have one open spot left for this class. A schedule conflict prevents me from attending. More workshops covering a variety of topics are planned. The Art Supply Depo will be one of many places opened for this evening's Art Walk.
