1960's Richards Rd And Dorr St Neighborhoods

I am looking for members of The Searles family. Carlie and I were good friends. We were always at each others house. She had 2 brothers Ray, and Danny. I am also looking for members of The Kohler family. There was John, George, Bill, and Sue. Sue, was in my sisters wedding in 1969. They had horses in their back yard (Princess, and Stormy).

Thank you. I will try and get a note to him in the mail. The Searles family used to have a big hot house operation across the st from us on Richards Rd. Does that still exist?

I'm assuming you don't live in the area any longer. Here is a county website for you to look up past friends, places you used to live, etc.

http://maps.co.lucas.oh.us/areis/areis.asp

When you are at the data tab (upper left corner) below that you will see a sub tab for structure photo.

If you don't have a specific address, use the map function to scan entire each parcel. Click identify and it will give information about each parcel owner.

Good luck and hope this helps.

I see 23 properties listed using the search Kohler. Sometimes typing individual names or initials will show names that don't appear when only the last name is searched. Again good luck.

The Searles Greenhouse has been gone since the early 1970's, its now a vacant field. My great grandfather worked for the Searle Brothers and lived on Richards next to the greenhouse

Was "Broadbeck" a greenhouse that way? We lived on McCaully Court in the mid 60's and I think that was in that area although I was 2 at the time.Ha!

Broadbeck's is a pretty sizable operation. They're on Wenz right next to the RR tracks.
