I interpret the first cartoon to mean that Uncle Sam is telling progressives to unite against the big money and campaign cash of the Big Banks and Wall St.
Yep, that's the way I read it too.
On a side note, I wish bankers/Wall St. fat cats still dressed like that. Would make them easier to identify and villify. Unfortunately, they all look like us nowadays:

I see two parties who claim to be different fighting against the middle (class) for the wealth of their masters while America is placed in the background.
Nothing like making a billion dollars banking and pushing a downturn. Wonder how much of that money will fuel moveon.org?
Did you even read the caption on the cartoon you posted? Uncle Sam is calling progressives fools for not working together. It’s Wall St and big banks deciding how to through the switch of the election.
As for pushing a down turn. Republicans got 98% of what they wanted. The S&P sited Republicans willingness to default on our debt and locked step opposition for new revenue in their down grading our credit rating.
As for your link - talking about milking the base. From the article - sources say "he wasn't involved in rumored trade", but then goes on to mention him about 20 times just to paint a picture of the boogey man to get conservatives fired up. It could have just as easily been the Koch brothers too, there is no evidence either, but that shouldn't matter right...

Mr G I did read the caption and if you read between the line you see two parties fighting against one another while Bankers and Wall Street win no matter what side "wins" Ie.. "get hold of the same end of that rope"
Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a progressive Republican nowadays. Just ask Mitt how far that platform is going to get him!
It's refreshing to see that the ideas captured in the third and fourth cartoons have been around a lot longer than some people on the internet would want you to believe.

Do people still worry about Jews/Rothchilds controlling the world? Other than Glenn Beck...
So if I was to tell you I was a quarter Jewish (race not religion) and that I think banks have to much sway over our lives, would that mean I hate 25% of myself?
Why do you make the auto association with Jews and bankers?
I don't associate Jews with bankers. I was referring to your pic of the Rothchilds owning the world which is an old wing nut conspiracy of Jews and the illuminati.
What do you think the pic YOU posted means? Especially considering the year it was published.
