It's like fishing, sailing, running, cycling, etc. Fun to do/play, maybe not so fun to watch. Violence, dynamics, and hi-scoring sell. Pro Ameican soccer is trying to go the pretty boy route that worked for NASCAR.

Could Toledo be a decent city for say, a USL team? I know they had the Slayers at one point but that didn't work out.

I think there was a pro team called the Pride or something like that at the sports arena. Never saw them just heard about them because a neighbor played for them I think.
