What rounds and what events? No links. No photos. No specifics. Some news source must have a mention of Carty "making the rounds."

Does Carty currently have a TV show or radio show or a column in a newspaper like he did between his 2nd and 3rd terms as mayor? He used the media to stay close to the public and transition to a 3rd run as mayor. By December 2004, many Toledoans wanted Carty to run for mayor again because they thought Carty v3.0 was better than Ford.

And Carty could have run for mayor in 2009, but he didn't because, allegedly, he told his wife in December 2004 that if he got elected mayor again in November 2005, he would not run in 2009. If he didn't run in 2009, why would he run in 2013? I believe he chose not to run in 2009 because he knew he couldn't win, and he didn't want a mayoral election "loss" on his record. I think he would have less chance of winning in 2013. Carty will be 74-years-old in 2013.

All the Toledoans who attended the GAF this past weekend must be planning to run for mayor of Toledo in 2013.

Maybe Carty is planning to move to his beloved Perrysburg and run for mayor there.

Probably cause hes hoping people will have forgoten most of his foot in mouth comments from the past. Toledo does have a short memory about politicians its seems. They did elect him 3 times after all.

Now, it is true that I am part of a suburban cabal that hopes to draft Carty into running for a soon-to-be-created government position called Super-Mayor of Toledo County.

It is a shame he had to cut his vacation short.I was hoping he would have taken a permanent vacation.When he was out playing golf my 401k started to rebound.Now he is back running his mouth and the stock market is going down the crapper.
