He was on paid administrative leave. He is the son of the former fire chief.
I can hardly wait to hear why he's on administrative leave.
I think the fire department is trying to out-do the police department. Some mental police officer shoots a fellow officer and now a fire inspector shoots a firehouse.
I hope they add this story to the SB5 ads.
It's a shame. His dad is a really good man. I feel bad for his father.

He didn't work for the TFD.
He was a fire inspector for the city... and was placed on administrative leave a week ago.

Kinda reminds me of a kid that lived near me, he and his dad worked for the volunteer fire department, turns out his hobby was setting abandoned buildings on fire. Claimed he did it so he could have bonding experiences with his dad. Took quite a while for him to get caught too. His name was Kevin Sheehy, know he got jail time but it was a while back he might be out of jail by now.

I assume he got his job because his dad was fire chief just like Bell's neice got all those grants.
Don't know how to link the Blade article from the paper today, but sure made some interesting reading. Blatant disregard of his job duties, going home to sleep while on duty, going to strip clubs, etc
