"Well, I went to St Joseph, Mi so I could get the court off my back on 10/6/2011 so I could get my CDL license holds removed..!
But since I did not have $1,000 on me for bond I was "imprisoned for 25"
days in the worst hell hole I have ever seen with a average of 20-30 men in a number of cell blocks (330 men)and over 120 women in separate cell blocks.All the windows are covered so you can not even see the sky,no clocks or watches ANYWHERE.!a TV that's about 15"×17" mounted 10' above the floor that's shut off at 900pm and has to be paid for at $10.00 a week,and absolutely nothing except mail and a "collect payphone"that bills the families about 10-$15.00 a call to who receives the calls, food is always cold..And had to shed "All" your clothes except underwear and put on a jumpsuit that you had to wear 5=6 days before getting a clean one,and you had to shower in front of "everyone"!The guards were hateful,disrespectful,
and if you asked a question in most case's you never got a answer.visitation is by way of a 15X15 tv screen and a phone hand set."No face to face meetings"! Nothing to read except used paper back books or magazines that are mostly torn up.And if you got out of line it meant "3 DAYS IN A FREEZING HOLDING CELL WITH NO BED OR BLANKET"
I was initially charged with driving on a suspended license on 03/05/2009
which "State Rep. Tredor, March Kaptur and the Ohio DMV.All checked and found that my CDL was "not under suspension" and the "BERRIEN COUNTY COURT was notified of this back on 05/08/2011.!
"SO YOU THOUGHT YOU HAD CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS".?? "BULLSHIT"
But for 22 days they locked me up with sex offenders, car thieves,domestic abuse, assault people, then on the 23 of Oct. I was asked if I wanted to bond out.? (the bond should have been $500.00 but Judge Charles Lasata added another $250.00 for no reason at all) "Bond out", BECAUSE THE CHARGES HAD BEEN DROPPED ![]()
and they dropped the charges because the prosecuting attorney found "the charges could not be pursued"!
"THEN TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY" they handed me a "bill for "ROOM AND BOARD" for $1,171.00
A their scam is simply jailing people who are innocent or not.! It makes no difference"! so that they can run up the jail time then charge everyone the$43.00 a day "ROOM AND BOARD" 
like one young man who was to go to court on the 31st of Oct. But was told his sentence had been extended another 30 days because the officer who arrested him was going on vacation for 2 weeks

Another man who became a close friend "Retired Master Sgt Ranger "Rex A Ross" who has 2 purple hearts and a number of other shash's and ribbons from Iraq and Afghanistan, is not given his pain meds at times,has to sleep on a sheet of steel,with a "inflated air mattress" and 1 blanket, no pillow.! As we all did "BUT REX IS DIFFERENT"!! his pain is from Chopper Blade fragments he received in Somalia" at Mogadishu" in his back when the infamous "BLACKHAWK DOWN" took place.! Rex was on the 2ND chopper that volunteers got on to rescue the men on the Black hawk" But was shot down 
Sargent Ross is not a flight risk he has a home and family not too far from the court. So there is absolutely NO reason he could not be simply fined and let go home..! BUT THEY WILL NOT DO THAT BECAUSE THEY WILL RUN UP A ROOM AND ROOM & BOARD BILL OF SOME 6 TO $10,000 ![]()

When I got home I checked with the DMV to make sure and found that my license suspension I had in Dec. and Jan. of 2008 to 2009 because of paying a mud flap ticket late (IT HAD FALLEN OFF) Had been dropped on Feb.01,2009 "WELL BEFORE MY GETTING THE DRIVING UNDER A SUSPENSION CITATION the Michigan cop gave me on 03/05/2009..!
SO THERES NO WAY MICHIGAN COULD NOT HAVE KNOWN THAT THE CHARGES WERE FALSE 
!
NUST A NOTE; AT $43.00 A DAY WITH SOME 450 PEOPLE WHO THEY KEEP FALSELY IMPISIONED = WELL OVER $38,000.00 A MONTH ..? RIGHT.?
I REALLY HOPE TO FIND A GOOD LAWYER THAT WILL TAKE MY CASE ON A CONTENGENCY BASIS
ALSO I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT "LUCAS COUNTY IS DOING THE VERY SAME THING HERE IN TOLEDO..!
WHERE DID OUR "CIVIL RIGHTS" GO TO .??

Was the request submitted in writing? On what date?
If you were in jail for 25 days beginning 10/6/11, I'm guessing the request was submitted relatively recently? It still seems within a reasonable timeframe for processing your request.
You know why lawyers are expensive?
Because they are worth it.
If misusing quotation marks was a criminal offense, he would be in jail for life.
Something seems very suspicious IMO. Has to be more to the story
Hoops: this is quite the drama-fest, only part of which the original poster has included here. There was another segment where the original poster threatened to shoot himself in front of police, which got him locked down for a period of time in a psych ward, as well as some rather colorful and inflammatory remarks the original poster made before various judges. I am too busy (and really not that interested) to dig up and link the rest of the story as told by the original poster (never mind any elements and/or versions of the story other involved parties might recount) but if you search the site you can glean the lengthy saga of fail.

As a veteran I have to say, just because you are a decorated war hero, etc. does not give you any right what so ever to come back to society and get any special treatment to break the law.
If anything, you should be setting an example of what being a citizen is. Of course, I understand if there are mental issues at hand.
This entire situation is spiralling way out of control fueled by a bunch of bad/wrong choices.
I'm really confused, you can be sent to jail for a freaking MONTH of your life for driving without a license?
It's not my place to be skeptical, I just hope whatever it is you get it resolved one way or another. This sounds horrible. If there is more to the story, again I hope you work it out to whatever it is that will help your life out more.

Okay, I think I know who BlacJac is, and if I'm right there are extenuating circumstances, and not just a few either.
And, by the way, I'm not going to tell what I know, not for love or money.
The recurring theme in this saga is the author's ability to keep some key facts from us.
There is more going on here than is posted. The posts are written in a "Woes me" type format, when indeed his own actions cause an increase with his problems.
Legal problems, relationship problems, and suicide tendencies make for a wicked combination.

Really. There is a higher power from which comfort and wisdom are available. You can bless others and wish them well while you work on your own problems. In my experience, it makes for a better life than searching around for ways to blame others and expecting sympathy. I wish you well.
Thank you viola, I expected no sympathy from these people like Madjac or Hockyfan if the 2 of them had brains the equivlent to gasoline they might just have enough for a piss ant to ride a motorcycle half way around a "beebee"! And there are no extenuating circumstances."The same thing is being done in Lucas county.! And I did contact a couple of lawyers as suggested one wanted $2,000 and the other $4,000 but I saw first hand how much lawyers and legal aid will do for you in a case like this. One Berrien, county refered to the judges in that area as "THE BROTHERHOOD" infering they all are on the take.A number of people had selled out from 2-$5,000 and were getting no where.!
Again, I recommend Terry Jonathan Lodge as an attorney or whomever he refers you to. He's very good at fighting the system. I have personal experience with him. In my case, just before walking into court, the opposition, a big bank, settled for more than we were suing for to avoid damages. I did not know you expected attorneys to be free or even cheap. Good "lawyering" costs. In the end, if all is as you say, you should recoup.
I sympathize with you, I really do. You certainly aren't the first uninformed person who's been victimized by the court system. However, there is no shinning knight on horseback that's going to ride in and make everything OK. You have to help yourself here blacjac687. From what I read in your posts you did just about the opposite at every step along the way. I think you are your own worst enemy. If you need help - get it. Its available.
