Rev. Pitts gets promotion?

Is it true that the Rev. Pitts has been promoted to bishop? Someone in the letters to the editor section of the paper wrote this. Is this true? Is this the same guy who was caught pleasuring himself
(not that there is any thing wrong with that) in a dugout of a ballfield somewhere? The Lord works in mysterious ways!
