Mayor Bell Refuses to Revive Talks with TPPA

I hope that Bell will agree to meet with the TPPA negotiators again. If this is truly the union’s position the Mayor should not allow them to use this as a future example that the city’s administration did not use every chance to negotiate a reasonable solution to the city’s tax shortage. Otherwise, lay off as many as necessary to balance the budget.

The court battle that will result from “exigent circumstances” may bankrupt both the TPPA and the city.
