Delta (Connection) is leaving Toledo on September 1st. Not a real surprise to many especially after Continental called it quits the same day.

My question to all of you - do you think the Port should stop their push for passenger services at Toledo Express? I don't mean stop supporting passenger services, but should they slowly ramp down their efforts to attract more passengers to the airport. To date, with fares from Toledo skyrocketing and passenger traffic declining, does anyone think they should focus more on General Aviation and Cargo? Instead of wasting money on a losing cause?
I used to think no...but now I'm thinking it isn't such a bad idea. The idea of a park and ride to Detroit Metro is sounding pretty good. Any other ideas?
