Article source for : Toledo Talk - What would you like to see at the location of the Secor Movie Theatre
I saw in a previous posting that they were demolishing the abandoned Showcase Theater on Secor soon to entice possible buyers. Since I live a mile from there and shop in that area it led me to wonder what I would like to see built. I avoid the Kroger's at Monroe and Secor pretty much now and really would not want to see WalMart. There are already vacancies in many of the little strip malls as there is, especially around Westfield Mall close by so I can't see a strip mall. Does anyone have any thoughts about what might succeed there or what would add a valuable service to the area in that location? A small industrial park? University of Toledo off site location? I admit to being a bit stumped right now but am curious what ideas others might have.
